Rocksure International Limited is a reputable, wholly Ghanaian-owned mining services company serving mining operations in Ghana and across international markets. Incorporated under Ghana’s Companies Act on 19 March 2009, the company commenced business on 23 March 2009 and has since developed more than 15 years of industry experience.

Rocksure specialises in Load and Haul, Drill and Blast, Reverse-Circulation Drilling, and Equipment Rental. The company possesses specific expertise in reverse-circulation drilling for mineral-resource definition and grade-control programmes, supporting accurate geological evaluation, mine planning and production control.

With a fleet of more than 190 units of heavy-duty mining and support equipment, Rocksure has the capacity, flexibility and technical resources required to deliver safe, efficient and reliable operations across projects of varying scale and complexity.

Underground-Mining Joint Ventures

Rocksure’s underground-mining capability is strengthened through its joint ventures with African Underground Mining Services Limited (AUMS), a subsidiary of the Perenti Group: Underground Mining Alliance Limited (UMA) and Underground Mining Alliance Akyem (UMAA).

Through these joint ventures, the partners provide underground development, production and related mining services at major Ghanaian mining operations, including AngloGold Ashanti’s Obuasi Gold Mine and Newmont’s Subika Underground Mine at Ahafo South. Their combined scope of work includes mine development and production, diamond drilling, mobile-equipment maintenance, electrical and communications services, fixed-plant maintenance, engineering, project and operations management, short-term technical and mine-operational support, and management reporting and controls.

These partnerships combine AUMS’s international underground-mining expertise with Rocksure’s local knowledge, operational capacity and commitment to developing Ghanaian skills and participation within the mining industry.
